Amanda Peters brings over 15 years of experience in the field of Developmental/Intellectual Disability services to Kuhn. Originally from Massachusetts, Amanda started off her career in day services, then made the switch to residential management in the Greater Boston area, where she focused on documentation and administrative support, in alignment with DDS policies and procedures.
As the Manager of Day Support Options, Amanda oversees the two day programs at Kuhn; Opportunities for Older Adults, and the Community Experience Program. Amanda is passionate about making positive impacts on the people she serves, while facilitating respectful, meaningful, and inclusive experiences.
Amanda holds a BS in Social and Political Systems, and a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Human Services Management from Suffolk University. When she is not at work, Amanda enjoys making artwork and supporting The Boston Celtics.
